In today's episode of Beyond the Business Suit, I am getting vulnerable with you. I am sharing some mistakes I made in my career in my 20s that I wish I could get a “do-over” for, that I hope that you won't make as well. Now let me be clear, I'm sure I've made MANY mistakes during my career, so this is not a comprehensive list at all. But I've included three things that given the opportunity to do again, I would have made different choices.

You'll have to listen to the episode for the full stories, but three mistakes I made in my career in my 20s that I wish I could do over are:

1. Asking the wrong question in an interview.
2. Saying the wrong thing to my new client.
3. Failing to understand the performance metrics of my job.

And one of these things actually got me fired.
