Episode 215: We Have Three Big Announcements!

Episode 215: We Have Three Big Announcements!

Today we are beyond thrilled to share some exciting news. Three big announcements in one day!

The Beyond Leadership Academy

Through our parent company, The Asbury Group, we are excited to extend the Beyond brand by launching the Beyond Leadership Academy. The first cohort of this academy is designed for high potential Black women and will kick off in January of 2021. Why Black women? Black women are represented at senior leadership at abysmal rates and often do not have the internal and external support necessary to not only elevate to the senior ranks, but thrive once they are there.

This six-month transformational leadership program is designed for Black female leaders to experience exponential growth and development.

Different than typical leadership development programs that specialize on general leadership skills, this program on the whole woman. The program's journey is designed to help participants ascend and thrive, while improving their wellbeing, helping them hone their authenticity and maximizing on their power within.

Applications are open now and will be until November 15, 2020 at 11:59 pm EST. You can find more information on the Beyond Leadership Academy at https://www.groupasbury.com/beyond-leadership and you can also submit your application here.

Beyond Sisters Celebration

We made it to mid-October!!! 2020 was trying to take us down, but we made it! And I am so proud of us! There has been so much that we have not been happy about this year but there is so much to be thankful for and to celebrate. So let me ask you: when was the last time you celebrated?

Last week I realized that despite what has been happening in 2020, I have reached almost all of my 2020 goals AND I am booked until June 2021! But yet, I felt like, “ok, that's good, but let's focus on what needs to be done now!” But then, my friend Amber said, “Girl! Can we just celebrate for a moment? You are BOOKED until June!” Whew. I needed that. And it's not just me. Over the past few weeks I've talked to several women in my tribe who have been caught between  “keep it moving” mode and feeling guilty to feel joy because of all that's happening in our world right now.
But let me tell you: we DESERVE to celebrate! Celebration is sooooo good for our souls.
So join me next Wednesday, October 21st from 7:30 – 9 pm ET/4:30 – 6 pm PT for a celebration on Zoom! Feel free to wear something fun, sip on some bubbly and put on your dancing shoes. We are going to have a DJ spinning some tunes and will also be celebrating some special women who have made 2020 their year. I will also be making a special announcement too! Register for our Beyond Sister's Celebration at kaileicarr.com/beyondsisterssession. I would also love to celebrate YOU specifically! If there is something that you are celebrating and want to share, send me an email at kaileicarr[at]groupasbury.com with “what I'm celebrating” in the subject line and in the body, just one line on what you are celebrating. We will be making a slide show of those who have been submitted.

I look forward to celebrating with you!

Beyond Community

The last announcement I wanted to make is one that I also mentioned during the 30 Days of Inspiration series, and that is that we will be launching the Beyond Community in November 2020! The Beyond Community first launched as a component of the Beyond Signature Series as a way for us to stay connected in between sessions. What ended up happening is that the community took on a life of its own and now is a thriving community, so much so that we want to open it up for more women. There will be more to come on this in the coming weeks, but some of what you can look forward to are personal, professional and leadership development, small groups to connect with each other, office hours from me, coaching sessions from others and more! And community is important now more than ever. More to come…
